Friday Night: Steak Fry, Mouse Races & Barn Dance
The festivities began on Friday with the lodge’s famous steak fry, enjoyed after arriving in style, transported by vintage fire trucks and old-mobiles. There was live music, drinks, and a sweet surprise: Kylie’s own song dedicated to Jake. After dinner, guests returned to the lodge for a fun twist! The lodge held Mouse races, where attendees cheered and placed bets on little runners. The night culminated in a lively barn dance with a folk band. Boots hit the floor, laughter filled the air, and the weekend officially kicked off.

The next morning began with excitement and anticipation. Friends and family got ready in the cozy lodge cabins, framed by the peacefulness of Flathead Lake outside.
The ceremony by the lake was simple, sweet, and breathtaking. Beautiful, bright florals from Mum’s Flowers were sprinkled throughout the venue to bring it all together. The ceremony was followed by a relaxed cocktail hour, where guests mingled in and out of the lodge with the light dancing off the lake.
Inside the tent, genuine, tear-filled speeches warmed the reception space. A live performance by Joan Zen and her band got everyone dancing through the night. As the day turned to evening, romantic golden hour portraits captured Kylie and Jake gliding in a canoe and strolling by the water’s edge, moments that felt timeless and meaningful. And just like that, the night slowly faded.
